Grandis also known as Flooded Gum or Rose Gum is a large fast growing plantation hardwood. Heartwood colour ranges from pink to reddish brown. Paler sapwood is sometimes indistinct from heartwood. It has moderately course but even texture. Grandis is easy to work with hand and machine tools. It is used for a variety of internal and external applications.
